We've updated our tremendously popular lien declaration webinar with new information from the DIR. Finally, some clarity on how to qualify and how to document eligibility.

SB 1160 introduced new lien declaration requirements which are applicable to both new and existing liens.

  • As of January 1st, all new liens must include a lien declaration at the time of filing.
  • Before July 1st, most previously existing liens -- those filed between January 1, 2013 and January 1st, 2017-- must be supplemented with a retroactive lien declaration.
