The Connecticut Orthopaedic Society represents over 240 orthopaedic surgeons in Connecticut - and their patients. The primary activities of this organization are designed to promote public knowledge of orthopaedic medicine, to assure professional development of orthopaedic physicians for the benefit of the general public, and to foster contribution of medical expertise and information regarding orthopaedic medicine for the public good.
The Connecticut Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) represents member physical therapists (PTs), physical therapist assistants (PTAs), and students of physical therapy in the state of Connecticut. The aim of the APTA is to improve the health and quality of life of individuals in society by advancing physical therapist practice, education, and research, and by increasing the awareness and understanding of physical therapy's role in the nation's health care system.
The Connecticut State Medical Society has begun its third century as the voice and focus in our state for the men and women who inhabit the ever-changing world of medicine. Since its founding, the Connecticut State Medical Society has worked to serve these physicians and their patients.
