The Hawaii Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (HAPTA) is a non-profit professional organization serving more than 300 member Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants and students in Hawaii. HAPTA represents, advances and protects the physical therapy profession to enhance the movement, health, and wellness of the people of Hawaii. We aim for a unified physical therapist community providing accessible quality care to optimize health for the people of Hawaii.
Serving Hawaii since 1856, the Hawaii Medical Association (HMA) is a voluntary, professional membership organization for physicians, resident physicians, and medical students in the state of Hawaii. HMA is dedicated to serving physicians, their patients, and the community through representation, advocacy, and public service. HMA is part of the American Medical Association (AMA) and is the parent organization for Hawaii's five component medical societies that operate independently.
The purpose of the Hawaii Orthopaedic Association is to offer an excellent forum of information on the latest developments in orthopaedics through symposiums, meetings and publications. The vision is to continue providing quality medical education for orthopaedic surgeons throughtout the State of Hawaii.
