APTA of Maryland is a chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), a national professional organization representing more than 100,000 members. Its goal is to foster advancements in physical therapy practice, research, and education. The APTA of Maryland, Inc. is committed to the preservation and enhancement of physical therapy services for society by addressing the needs and interests of its members in areas of practice, education, research and reimbursement.
The Maryland Orthopaedic Association (MOA) is the professional organization for the orthopaedic community in Maryland. Our mission is to encourage, promote, and advance the science and medical art and practice of orthopaedic surgery. We are the state society affiliate of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).

The Maryland Workers' Compensation Educational Association (MWCEA) is dedicated to promoting education, communication and collegiality by bringing together the Maryland Workers' Compensation community to provide a forum for employees, employers, insurers, program administrators, medical and rehabilitation providers and attorneys. Our goal is to provide education and support for the strategic continuation and betterment of the Workers' Compensation system to the benefit of all participants.
