The PPTA’s core purpose and mission is to represent, advocate and advance the practice of physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. By 2020 we envision the physical therapy profession will have unrestricted direct access to health care consumers and be recognized in the Commonwealth as the providers of choice and leaders in the prevention of impairment, wellness and restorative care of neuromusculoskeletal systems.
